EATOUT…

A new generation of restaurant website

EATOUT is the first business to launch out of Invitation Digital Ltd, the newly formed arm of Invitation Media Ltd, one of the fastest growing leisure discount operations in Europe and creators of the Invitation Book.



About us

Now running successfully in 10 cities and towns across the UK, with another six to be added this year, Invitation provides exclusive savings and special offers to over 100,000 Members.

The digital side of the business has been set up to explore, play with and develop the Online and Mobile channels for our content. And EATOUT is the starting point.

Born out of a love for food and the Internet, we have combined our two passions to serve up a site which combines the traditional elements of good journalism – accurate information and content – with contemporary Web 2.0 thinking. Think Facebook for foodies and you get a taste for it.

Over the past few years, whilst producing the books, we have lived and slept restaurants. We produce the popular Invitation Diners Card and Invitation Platinum Card and have great relationships with hundreds of restaurants across the country. With the wonders of the web, we wanted to take these relationships one step further, offering more for partner restaurants and more interactivity and usability for the customer.

What you see here on the site is the beginning of the journey, the hors d’oevres (to extend the cheesy food analogies). Launching in our home town of Bristol with in-depth content, we will extend the model out across the UK and you will see a lot of new content and features appearing organically on the site over the coming months. Above all, this site is for you to engage with fellow members who enjoy eating out. Consider yourself a budding food critic? EATOUT, is the site to demonstrate your talents on.
