What we say

Beat the heat with the hottest dishes at 4550 Miles from Delhi, one of Nottingham's liveliest Indian restaurants – oozing with class, from the décor and the superb cuisine to the fashionable clientele.

Classical Indian tradition is observed and only natural ingredients, incorporating fresh herbs and spices, will be used in the preparation of dishes, and in this way you experience Indian food as it was meant to be, free from all artificial additives, preservatives and food colouring.

All the flavours, colours and dazzle of Delhi is signified by one individual monument that stands proud on the outside walls of 4550, the tum tum vehicle – bringing to mind some of the hustle and bustle of every day life in Delhi.

An open 'theatre' kitchen ensures that the aromas and sounds of spicy cooking are never far away – clients waiting for meals can watch their own being cooked by the chefs from Delhi as they work.

Not just another upmarket Indian restaurant, quite literally 4550 Miles from Delhi, the restaurant offers diners an ingenious fusion of Asian herbs, spices, fresh meat and vegetables. Styled to suit the taste of the municipal connoisseurs, 4550 Miles from Delhi is the ideal spot from which to commence or complete the perfect evening. They have created a place that is relaxing and comfortable.

The name says it all about this restaurant's location. However, the food, fresh and invigorating with spices that sparkle, is more like 4.5 Miles from Delhi!

The restaurant is small for the number of tables and if sat near the kitchen it is very warm.

I really enjoyed the food and thought it was excellent quality, as a veggie its great to go to a restaurant with so much choice.

People have said this is a great place to ate, but we found that the tables were very small and the service slow and rude. There was only two of us and we ordered a starter and poadums and when they came, there was hardly and room on our table for 3 plates, we had to put our wine botle on the floor.

As we got to the end of the meal, they took away out plates and we still had a glass of wine left but they soon made it clear that they wanted us gone.

    Overall expensive and over-hyped
