This is Al's second site south of the river - the first down the road by the City ground is a legendary institution - and continues in the same vein albeit in slightly smarter premises, a converted shop on Bedminster's now booming high street. Like it says on the tin, this is hot and spicy Indian food (although, bizarrely, you can enjoy English breakfasts) with a range of classic dishes alongside top chef specials like the tandoori trout. Unpretentious and consistently good quality.
