What we say
A long-standing favourite with many aficionados, this is a working man's café by day and a candlelit, cosy curry café by night which, although a little limited in choice, serves up superbly fresh and tasty tandooris, kormas, baltis and jalfrezis among other classics. It's the homely, community vibe of Al's which makes it a small gem south of the river.
