What we say

As the name suggests, you will find an exotic whiff of the Middle East here in the heart of the Podium shopping centre where the Lebanon meets Roman Bath. From the faux studded door entrance to the Bedouin style tented candelit interior, it's water pipes and spice all the way. The low tables, gold braided cushions and Arabian music whisk you into a word full of eastern promise - namely a menu bearing gifts in the shape of exotically named dishes like the baba ghanouge or kafta khishkhash (minced lamb, onions & parsley, grilled on skewers and served with grilled onions, tomatoes, green peppers and tomato & herb sauce). The mezza meals (a mix of dishes) for two to four are a great introduction to this subtle cuisine and the lunchtime special buffet is a bargain.

Stopped here with my wife and had an excellent meal. They do have a normal menu available at lunchtime, but we opted for the buffetwhich is a mixture of hot and cold dishes. Really enjoyed the stuffed vine leaves, the flatbreads, falafels and the houmous.

Food service was of course excellent, as we served ourselves!

I have only eaten here at lunchtime when they do a great all you can eat lebanese buffet, which is a bargain at £7.95 (I think that's the price).

Great choice of salads, dips, plenty of flat breads, falafel, chicken, meatballs, lamb, etc.

I can't say much either way about the service because it's a buffet, but they're friendly.
