ASK is a leading name in the UK restaurant market, its rapid expansion never detracting from its main focus – to serve freshly-prepared, quality food in stylish and comfortable surroundings with friendly, efficient service. The informal, contemporary ambience of the restaurant lends itself well both to business lunches, romantic dinners and family occasions.
The menu consists of a wide range of traditional and contemporary choices. There are, of course, the pasta dishes, ranging from spaghetti and meatballs to ravioli with crayfish, crab, smoked salmon and mascarpone cheese. There is also a plethora of tempting pizzas, with some original options such as the "fiesta di carne", with spicy pork and fennel sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto, red onion and rosemary. The popular calzone are also featured – folded pizza topped with garlic butter and cheese, with a choice of fillings.
For those looking for a healthier option, the range of salads is outstanding, from the mozzarella tricolore with baby mozzarella, avocado, tomatoes and red onion on spinach and rocket, to the insalae di salmone, with oak roasted salmon, rocket, asparagus, avocado, green beans, cherry tomatoes and red onion.
Don't fill up too much for dessert, they are superb and not to be missed. Highly recommended is the honeycomb cheesecake – as good as it sounds and probably worth a trip to ASK on it's own!

What a surprise!

You can't really see what this restaurant looks like from the outside. When we first walked in, the small seating area in front of the window was very quiet. However up the stairs we were surprised to find it opens out into a large bustling restaurant. The food and service were really good and thanks to the Invitation Membership card the meal was really good value for money. Would definitely go back!
