What we say

This is a middle-of-the-road and pleasant enough trip around the kitchens of Tuscany in the setting of a cheerful dining room of tiled flooring and warm, ochre hues on the walls broken up by plants throughout the room. The food touches all the right bases with an offering of pizzas, salads, pasta and selection of fish, chicken and steaks from the grill. There's lighter bites, including decent paninis, for the day time visit and the dolci menu comes recommended. The place is very children friendly and even has a bambino menu.

We come here at least once a month, and also came here in December for our Christmas party. The service is generally good, the food is great and what's even better is the fact that they accept Clubcard Deal vouchers meaning we just need to pay for the drinks!

I visit this restaurant regularly. It is great with friends, with my husband for a quiet lunch/dinner for 2 or with the kids for family occasions. The food is always lovely and the staff are great.

I frequently visit this place as it is allocated next to the cinema. I have never had a bad meal here, always lovely food and plenty of it. If you love pasta, pizza or indeed tasty chicken or steak then this is the place. I always have a large glass of wine to wash down my food followed by the best tiramisu to finish the evening. If you don't like dessert then you could always finish your meal with a Bailey's coffee. Overall i think Bella Italia is a great place to eat.

My girlfriend and I visit Bella Italia quite often, especially after we've been to the movies which is next door. The atmosphere is typical of an italian restaurant, plenty of hussle and bustle and noise from the kitchen area. The garlic bread is to die for and my favourite dish is Penne pollo ala creme. It's chicken in a white wine and cream sauce with bacon, roasted peppers, red onions an penne pasta. I've tried to make it at home without much success. Many of the other dishes are equally as tasty. If you want no nonsense italian cuisine then Bella Italia is the place to go.
