Another of Bedminster's fine crop of cafes which have opened in recent years. The simple, café set up is deceptive as the menu and specials board offer many hidden delights which are Middle Eastern and North African in origin. You can opt for the familiar English dishes, like the great breakfasts, but the real appeal here is the more exotic dishes on offer like the marinated chicken kebabs or North African chicken tagine. The coffee is a real bonus too. Although café by day, Ceiturica (a Persian phrase which loosely translates as 'how's it going?') is licensed and serves as a candelit bistro by night. A class act and going well as it happens.

Really like this place - nice alternative to the old haunts of the Tobacco Factory/Teohs but with more of a traditional local restaurant vibe. The menu is inventive (lots of specials) and has an (Lebanese?)angle to the food. I loved my Persian lamb curry cooked in a tall clay pot. Good service, not too expensive and excellent portion sizes.

This place, which I wont try to spell (but does write its own name phonetically on the side of the building) was a bargain. It's a shame we arrived at around 1.30 though and our food took ages, but worth the wait. The staff were very apologetic and we did get some complimentary olives to tide us over. It's a little bare inside but the wraps I ordered were perfectly cooked and there were lots of vegetarian options, (brekkie's also good by the way). I recommend it for a cheap eat, but avoid the human traffic.
