We recently visited Carriages restaurant and enjoyed a lovely evening of food, wine and excellent service. The hotel was very welcoming and comfortable, and the service efficient and friendly despite being a busy evening. The restaurant had a lovely ambience and the food was superb. The choice was good and the presentation excellent. Our evening was complemented with a relaxing drink in the lounge. We really enjoyed our Valentines evening and would highly recommend Carriages. I am looking forward to my next visit.

We recently visited Carriages Restaurant and found it to be a excellent restaurant within a lovely hotel. The staff made us feel very comfortable and the high standard of service was complemented by delicious food. A real highlight for foodies living in the North Bristol area, not wanting to venture into Bristol for high class dining. We will be recommending to our friends and look forward to going back. Well worth a visit.

A very good experience from the welcome from the receptionist, through aperitifs taken whilst studying the menu in the newly-refurbished lounge - subtle colours and comfortable seating making for a relaxing atmosphere. Excellent food and drink in the elegant dining room. served by friendly and professional staff.

Myself and my wife recently stayed at this lovely hotel having attended a near by function. We found the restaurant to be warm and welcoming, as were the staff. The food was fantastic, as good or better than most Bristol restaurants.
