What we say

Located in the Bishopston Valley on the edge of the famous Gower Peninsula, Britain's first area of natural beauty, this warm and relaxing restaurant is a part of the popular Winston Hotel and Spa.

With its friendly, welcoming service, accompanied by passionate cooking and innovative ideas, Churchill's Restaurant, Bar and Garden take you away from the hustle and bustle of Swansea, and into the calming haven of the Gower.

The idea behind the restaurant was to bring a taste of the world to its diners, offering unique food, service and beverages with connections to Sir Winston Churchill’s life, from his British and American origins to his travels through Africa and the Caribbean.

Within the extensive à la carte menu, exciting and exotic choices can be found, such as kangaroo and lemongrass skewers, blackened swordfish loin and ostrich fillet. Also on offer are some local favourites such as Welsh sausage and mash and Hobgoblin beer-battered fish and chips.

Vegetarians are welcomed and can choose from delicious alternatives such as twice-baked smoked Cheddar, leek, cauliflower and potato gratin, or petit ratatouille tartlet. Although taking inspiration from overseas cuisines, Churchill's Chefs aim to use quality local ingredients wherever possible, and endeavour to accommodate any dietary requirements.

At lunchtimes, diners are welcomed by a comprehensive menu with 2 courses for £7.95, again with some tempting exotic dishes, the emphasis always on freshness, quality and price.
