Eastern Taste
East may be east and west may be west but the twain meet uncompromisingly, in cheap and cheerful style, at Eastern in Easton. Delicious Bangladeshi home-cooking is offered in plentiful quantities by charming staff, either in the refurbished restaurant or as takeaway. The usual suspects appear on the menu, including plenty of vegetarian options, cooked with scant regard for the sensibilities of the western palate, but the BYO policy lets you apply your own assistance to any temporary infelicity which you may experience in what those lovable rhyming Cockneys call your “north and south”.

Eastern taste is a favourite . Its a rare week that we don't eat or take away at some point. Food is reliably good, as it says over the door 'Bangladeshi home cooking'. The service is always pleasant and it has its own special ambience, relaxed and cosey. Also the act it's BYO is a bonus.
