‘Benvenuti’ to the home of authentic Italian cooking. Situated on the historic Chipping Sodbury High Street, ‘Giardino’ is a delightful two-floor restaurant that offers a traditional and tasty dining experience. The small frontage of the premises is misleading because the restaurant extends over two floors, both of which are airy, well lit and decorated in a contemporary style.
This small slice of Italy boasts a warm welcome, an extensive menu ranging from much loved classics like ‘Scaloppine Saltimbocca’ to the signature dishes of the Sicilian chef, ‘Pollo alla Cacciatora’ for example, rounded off with homemade desserts and an excellent wine list.
‘Giardino’, run by Italians for those who love to eat Italian.

If you have not been to this restaurant since it was taken over and become Giardino's you need to come and try it out. We had heard that the new owners were building a good reputation and expected to a good experience, but I have to say that we were very impressed. It is by far the best italian meal we have had in the Bristol area and on a par with eating out in Italy. Everything was absolutely perfect in terms of the ambience created by Guiseppe's team right through to the authentic flavour of the food. We are going back very soon for a family party and very much looking forward to it.

Giardino is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Bristol area. The great food is not too expensive and comes with excellent serice. The Italian film posters on the walls give it a very traditional Italian feel.
Highly recommended restaurant.

You must visit this piece of Italy, the waiting staff are a joy to be with, very curtious and knowledgable and passionate about their restaurant.
The waft of smells tantalises you every time a dish passes your table, I hope its my turn next.

Go on! Let your guard and hair down at Giardino in Chipping Sodbuy and eat some fantastic food.
This is a fantastic little gem of a place to eat hearty, wholesome and delicious food cooked by the man himself Guiseppe!
If you want bland pizza and pasta - go to your local supermarket! If you want authentic italian food made by a "real italian", then this is the place to come and eat. Either with your loved one or with the whole family - Fabio the head waiter and his team will make you feel like you have had something rather special to eat!
I had the spicy sausange pizza and let me tell you - it was just like the one I had in Sicilly many years ago! The thin crust pizza was packed with lovely taste!!
I also like the way (never seen this in any London based restaurants!) the deserts are brought over to you - a selection is served on a plater and you take your pick! Just a lovely, warm and friendly personal service that the bigger establishments should take note of!
Highly recommended.

Fantastic authentic Italian food. From the moment we walked in we realised that this was going to be good. The staff were attentive but not over bearing. The wine list featured many wines not often found outside of Italy and at very reasonable prices. The food was superb , first class and most importantly traditional Italian made with love and care.
Just like Mama used to make!

There are many Italian Restaurants in and around Bath, but it is worth going that little bit further to sample some real authentic Italian Cuisine! The food is freshly prepared and really is superb quality, some truly mouth watering dishes, desserts and excellent wines, together with friendly attentive staff. The homemade bread is unique and is definitely worth sampling.
Until you have been to Il Giardino you really haven't sampled true Italian cooking!
The perfect place to spend a romantic evening dining the true Italian way!

Fabio and his team have taken over this special Italian in the past few months and developed it into a magnificent, homely, personal and cheerful experience. Head chef Guiseppe produces excellent food on hot plates every time! Free parking in Chipping Sodbury and easy to find at the end of the street by the War Memorial. Highly recommended.
