What we say

Andrew Hanson and his wife Michelle warmly welcome you to Hanson at the Chelsea, a seamless fusion of elegant surroundings, tantalising gourmet menus and impeccable service.

Four years of training at the Ritz have meant that Andrew knows his stuff when it comes to restaurants, and bearing witness to this is the success of his first venture in the Marina at Swansea. Now his "Midas touch" has been applied to Hanson at the Chelsea, and with good effect, as the reception to it has been superb.

With fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers and a varied menu full of mouth-watering twists on traditional dishes, these dishes will tantalise the palate. The setting is perfect, with the relaxing, ambient atmosphere of Hanson at the Chelsea, and the helpful staff, always as eager to attend to your every need as you will be to devour the gourmet cuisine.

The highlight of the sparkling menu is its fish section, where you might find such delights as cod wrapped in pancetta with sauté of bacon, black pudding, cockles and cherry tomatoes with baby pan-fried potatoes. Add to this plenty of meat options for those who aren't keen on seafood, and you have a truly varied and exciting selection to choose from.

With local and national awards to its name, including the AA "Fish Restaurant of the Year 2007" and Times UK "Restaurant of the Year 2005", this is a real gem and a must-try for any discerning Swansea diner.
