Il Capricorno
Il Capricorno in the centre of Swindon was founded by Giovanni Caruso from Calabria in southern Italy in 1998. Just like his namesake the famous operatic tenor he struck all the right notes in his quest to offer authentic traditional Italian cuisine to the people of Wiltshire, and they chorused their approval, encouraging him to establish a sister restaurant, Il Capricorno Marlborough. The extensive menu includes all the usual favourites, pasta, pizza, meat, fish and vegetarian, and dishes are prepared using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients. Prices are reasonable so even the most hard up diner needn't sing for his supper.
