The latest venture of the Fosters Group, a long-standing, family-owned Bristol company, Jacks is the first restaurant to open on the Portishead Marina. With great views over the water, and a contemporary and clean design, the Portishead Jacks is perfect for dining alfresco and enjoying the afternoon sun. Even in less agreeable weather, the view can still be admired from within.

The cuisine is contemporary British with a European twist. The innovative menu, sourced locally and changed daily, ranges from brunch through light lunches and afternoon tea to an extensive a la carte list. Starters might include fennel and almond soup or baked goat's cheese with marinated beetroot salad and walnut dressing. Mains on offer might include rump of lamb with aubergine caponata, spinach and salsa verde or smoked haddock and parsley risotto with a poached egg.
