Established for over 15 years in Kingswood, Jade Palace offers a warm welcome and real Chinese food to the many and varied customers who pass through the doors. The surprisingly large and comfortable restaurant is perfect for birthday parties while still intimate enough for a romantic meal for two.
Start with a speciality Tsingtao beer while you browse through the extensive menu. The wine list is also excellent. The mixed starters are recommended and include spring rolls, chicken satay, spare ribs, sesame toast, crispy seaweed and crispy wan tun. Mains may run to sizzling mussels in black bean sauce, oyster with ginger and spring onion or crispy beef with sweet chilli sauce.
Taste the delights of Jade Palace for yourself!

We have been visiting this restaurant for about 5 years now. Always had a lovely meal. Really good food.
After visiting at the weekend, what a shock we had.
All the starters came at once. So we had soup, duck and starters all to eat. It usually comes out separately so you can have a leisurely meal. We felt very rushed and disappointed. The main courses were much smaller and not very hot. The difference was incredible.
I understand they have a new chef and it's just not the same. Duck was overcooked and quite chewy. Crispy chilli beef was lukewarm and soggy. Chips were nice though.
We won't be coming back as it has changed quite a lot. I'll give Water Sky or Shanghai nights a try next time.

Jade Palace is the best chinese restaurant we have visited in Bristol - superb choice of food, friendly helpful staff - in fact there are no negatives about this restaurant. We have visited at very busy times and quiet times and the service has been excellent each time.

The chef has changed and the food is awful now.
The atomosphere was tense, because the food was taking so long to arrive.
One of the waiters, who is very polite is leaving, he said!
Such a shame as the food used to be lovely.
We ate the starter, but left the main course it was that bad.

I have eaten at the Jade Palace several times over the last year and have never had a bad meal. I always opt for the all you can eat, which is around £13 per head on an evening and all cooked to order. The choices are varied and it includes a duck course. Staff are friendly and polite and wine very reasonably priced

Jade Palace is a great chinese, hidden away from town (but very easy to find) in Kingswood, we have been regular visitors for the last 10 years - we have the buffet which is excellent value - all cooked fresh to order (not from a buffet cart!) and you can order / eat as much as you like from 50+ dishes. Had a great birthday party there. They also do take away / delivery . Easy parking and well worth a visit!
