What we say

Kashmir is the latest addition to the myriad quaint neighbourhood eateries in Easton. The bright and welcoming exterior leads into a modern warm and comfortable restaurant with terracotta walls, glass-top tables and even Indian music videos playing on the big screen.

Chef Owner Abdul Shakoor regularly takes a break from his busy kitchen to personally welcome the diners, ensuring everyone's happy whilst looking for ways to improve on the experience. The cuisine here originates from the foothills of the Himalayas with favourites like Ayer fish steaks, chicken pakora, chicken kara masalla or king prawn sag.

It's all tasty and wholesome healthy food and with all starters priced around £2.50, mains at around £6 and sides at £2, you can truly eat like a king on a small budget. Kashmir also caters for weddings, birthday parties and special occasions.

We ordered a take away from here and although it arrived in good time, the food was pretty awful. The chicken Tikka Rezala consisted of about 10 pieces of dry overcooked meat in a thin spicy gravy. Did not eat all of this, it was that bad. My partner had Lamb Karahi which was better, but not as good as other places.
