What we say

The artists in question have been popping in from The Bristol Old Vic next door for over thirty years now, to join the creative crowd in post-performance relaxation. Many of them have taken the trouble to leave their autographs on the publicity mug shots which decorate the walls. Family-run, the upstairs restaurant carries a certain casual elegance while downstairs it can sometimes, especially at weekends, seem like far from the madding crowd without the far bit. The grub is basic but good Italian staples, the thin crust pizzas having a deservedly superb reputation. This is a unique Bristol institution which puts on a critically acclaimed show every night.
