With its striking Latin-American vibe and influences, don't expect a quiet, bland meal here. You will find a lively atmosphere, suitably chic music, a classy décor, lovely cocktails and a passion for the food. Serving the area well since 1991, Las Iguanas has built on its initial Bristol success and now has branches around the country including London. Recipes have been gathered from Spain, Portugal and Africa but are given a Latin American twist. The mouth-watering Gambas - split tiger prawns in lemon and chilli butter - make for a great starter to go with the party-like ambience.
Located on Whiteladies Road, Iguanas also offers an outside dining area. The house speciality, xinxim, is strongly recommended (you'll have to go there to find out what it is - you won't be disappointed).

As usual, very tasty and reasonably priced food. What makes this restaurant especially excellent are the waiters/ waitresses who are always genuinely friendly.
Try the fajitas and the pina coladas....

Good place and ambience to eat. Very Friendly service. Food is Excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in Mexican food.

Busy but quick

Very lively restaurant that we have enjoyed a few times. We have also taken our children here on a number of occasions and they had small portions from the main menu - much better that chicken nuggets or sausages and beans! The varied menu all seemed to be very fairly priced.

I would recommend Las Iguanas - tasty food, great service and a really good atmosphere - enjoy! We had a selection of starters - and would definitely go again.

Lazy Sundays

Went to Las Iguanas on Sunday afternoon with my friend and his son and had a very enjoyable meal. The service was excellent (crayons and games were provided for my friend's son). I had their early evening menu and chose a Quesadilla with my friend opting for a selection of Tapas. The portions were a great size and very tasty. I would definitely recommend Las Iguanas for a relaxed and fun meal out.

If you want to party while you dine, Las Iguanas is the place for you. The food is filling and tasty fare and the tequila girls make sure that everyone is soon in a party mood - Mexican style!
