What we say

The very first Le Mistral and still the favourite of many of their regular customers. This smaller restaurant offers intimacy and relaxation combined with the wine and food for which Le Mistral has become widely recognised.

Le Mistral is a French style café, bistro and restaurant. Open from 11am to 11pm, seven days a week, it provides a cosmopolitan and unique dining experience.

The opposite of a formal restaurant, at Le Mistral you get good quality, freshly-cooked restaurant food, but without any of the pretensions associated with many quality restaurants. Service is friendly and relaxed, and nobody will ask you "if everything is alright with your meal" as soon as you take your first mouthful.

Le Mistral offers an amazing choice of 58 good value wines and Champagnes, most of them available by the glass. Beer drinkers need not be disappointed either, with a choice of 16 bottled beers. Hot drinks? No problem, as there is even a house blend of espresso created just for Le Mistral.

So, whether you fancy moules marinieres with frites, boeuf Bourguignon, or just to nibble on one of the famous cheese or charcuterie platters, you can be sure that you will enjoy a warm welcome, friendly service, and perhaps even forget for a moment that you're still in England!
