The management of Opa in Bath (tucked in to white-washed vaults under North Parade Bridge) seek to give culinary expression to this ambitious billing by offering classic Greek food (halloumi, moussaka etc), supplemented by numerous chef's specials, in a relaxed and stylish setting. The helpful and friendly staff, the live music and the extensive wine list add to the celebratory atmosphere but customers are not necessarily expected, as a gesture of thanks for the serene yet exuberant dining experience, to dash their plates to the ground.
