Myself and three friends visited Paprika for a Birthday meal.

We'd actually on first attempt tried booking Blue Ginger just a few doors down, through good word-of-mouth reviews about it being low in price, however even 2 weeks prior they were fully booked.

After the evening my friends and I had, I don't think that anything can compete!

I enjoy going out for Indian food frequently and am always up for trying new restaurants, however after dining in Paprika, I think I've found a high contender in my top three restaurants.

The atmosphere was fantastic, staff were very friendly without pestering us. They even brought my friend out a birthday card with her name on signed from the staff.

Food was sublime, I couldn't quite finish my side of Saag Aloo so was asked if I'd like to take it home. I obviously said yes, although after another glass of wine, paid the bill, thanked the waiter and totted off up the road...only to find the waiter chasing me down the road with my doggy-bag in hand as I'd left it at the table! Now that's what you call service!

My only negative is that its so far from where I live, being in Bedminster, Whitchurch is a little far out. However that's where the birthday girl lives, so fingers crossed next year she'll suggest we return!

4 of us ate here on a Saturday night, not your typical Indian Restaurant with white tablecloths and Neon signs very modern without being to trashy!

Food was good nice extensive menu with traditional eastern dishes. No complaints and very good value. Service was commendable as with most Indian restaurants.

I'm sure we will return or maybe drop in for a takeaway
