Three ingredients are needed for the real French experience – good food, good wine and good company. Petit Paris, situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre, has these covered. Opened in June 1995 by Sergio Capobasso and Jean-Louis David, the originally named Café de Paris is situated between the Royal Centre/Theatre Concert Hall and the Victoria Shopping Centre. In 1999 the name was changed to Petit Paris, but the quality of service remained the same. Today the restaurant continues to hold down its fantastic reputation for outstanding food and a relaxing, warm ambience.
Petit Paris combines classic French cuisine with innovative contemporary dishes. Delights include pasta, fish and the French classics including brioche, coq au vin, filet mignon, fruits de mer and moules marinères. To finish, mouth-watering, hand crafted desserts such as crème brûlée, tart tatin, caramel and pear bavarois are a must. An extensive daily specials board complements this fantastic variety of French and Italian cuisine with inspired contemporary dishes.
A quality wine cellar, offers wines from around the world, and provides the perfect accompaniment to your meal. French food is a cuisine to take your time over. At Petit Paris, service is friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a warm, convivial atmosphere allowing you to relax and enjoy your meal in unhurried surroundings.

I love this restaurant, it is not too big, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and the food is fantastic. I have been many many times over the years and i have never had a single complaint. Love the Vouvray wine too.
On this visit i had pigeon breast for starter I had never tried it before. The chef double checked that serving it pink was ok which i was happy to try and thought it was good they came out and checked. It was soo tasty i now want to eat it all the time :-)
