Dinner for two at Piccolino, Always wanted to try here ever since the development in Cabot was finished but never got round to it.
I do like the decor inside, it's got a very good warm feel to it and the lighting is just right.
Couldn't fault the food which was on par with the price so didn't get more or less than what we paid for. I must say my main of Halibut with clams and broccoli in white wine was fantastic cooked perfectly and very tasty
two things let the side down from getting full marks, 1 the waitress although pleasant couldn't really understand English and i had to repeat my drinks order 7 times and the wine. I tried 3 different red in search of a decent one and they were all disappointing.
Would definitely go back though, great place for an evening meal for two or with family & friends.

Went here with a some friends a few weeks ago and we were not dissapointed, although it is a small chain, it is an excellent addition to the Bristol restaurant skyline!
We were welcomed by some very friendly staff, who offered to take our jackets and we were then shown to our table, the surroundings were beautiful, very busy and bustling but there was enough space between the tables to be comfortable.
All of the starters that we ordered we beautiful, the best ceasar salad i have ever had, tender chicken fresh crisp leaves, and it was a great size! The main meals didnt dissapoint either we ordered pizza, pasta, duck and all of it was cooked beautifully, and presented to the highest standard, the side portions of chips and vegetables were also great!
The drinks also matched, great choice of wines, including organic options!
The only complaint that could be made was the length of time that we waited, although it didnt bother us as we had plenty of time, in reality we waited almost an hour and a half between first and second courses! But if youre not in a rush its worth the wait!
A fantastic addition to Bristols restaurant skyline, and absolute must!
I look forward to returning!!

This was the second time I had been to Piccolino, the first time having been on a weekend when it was very busy and it was quite slow service. However, this occasion there were 18 of us on a Wednesday night, and it was fantastic.
The service was good - they arranged for us to have drinks in the bar first, and two large tables upstairs for the meal. There was a good menu for a large party, and the food came quickly and pretty much at the same time. They were also good at taking additional drinks orders.
However, it was quite quiet being a Wednesday night, and they had plenty of staff. The only other negative is the price - the steak was one of the best I have had in a long time, but you would expect it to be good for £22. The choice of side orders was also excellent - the spinach was a real winner. However, if you are looking for a 3 course meal with wine, and you want steak/fish and not a pizza, you should expect to pay £50 per head. Overall though, cracking night, and probably the best food I've had in Bristol.

I was really worried that without Le Monde, our New Years Eve dinner would be ruined by going somewhere that didn't measure up. Well that really wasn't a problem here! This restaurant is one of the best I have ever been to and I can be very fussy.
The food was amazing, a menu that really left you wanting more, with pleanty of choice for everyone. The service was second to none. you are greated by warm welcoming staff and everyone is very very professional. The atmosphere was perfect. modern and very classy, with a very warm cosy relaxed feel. The food was fresh, and as my partner is a big bloke that likes big portions i was a little worried that they might be too modern with a very small but rich serving; but not at all, the helpings were very generous and full of flavour. I really can't wait to go back, you really must go. mwoa!!! belissimo!!!

Myself and 2 friends dined here after hearing lots of reviews from friends and other people on Eatout. You can't fault the service and the food overall was pretty good. Being 3 girls, we decided to forego the starters so we could indulge in dessert. My main of a kebeb of scallops, monkfish and prawns was delicious and the tomato sauce with it was actually excellent - they obviously use good tomatoes (for a change).
We absolutely LOVED the shared dessert - a large plate on a stand offering a selection of tiramisu, cheesecake, fruit and chocolate something or other - delicious and meant no one had food envy though it was gone in a flash.
Overall, it is a nice restaurant, decent enough decor and very good service.

Took a break from shopping with the girls to grab a quick bite to eat in Piccolino. Absolutely loved the decor. We were looked after extremely well by attentive waiters, the fresh pasta was amazing with each individual flavour coming through nicely. House wine was delicious. All at a reasonable price. Top Spot for lunch

I had a fantastic meal at Piccolino Friday night with my partner. The service was spot on (even tho it was full to over flowing) the food was delightful and the wine, much enjoyed! I loved the Brushetta Ai Fungi started just delicious. My partner had the soup (spicy been and pasta) I then had the free range chicken with gnocchi and wild mushrooms it was worth five out of five! and my partner had the pizza with mozzarella and an egg ontop with spinach... too full for dessert! Can't wait to go back.. even thinking about throwing a post wedding party there now!!

NIce exspensive fit out, the green will grow on you.
Very good service.
Very poor food, chewy calves liver, soggy greesy chips, underseasoned pasta and all very over priced, £19 for overcooked liver and chips, when asked for rare.
House wine also very overpriced.
Will not be going back.
