The Pipe is a contemporary reworking of an age-old concept, namely the friendly local boozer where you can enjoy a decent pie and pint over a decent natter with the locals. The seating is comfortable, a real fire adds to the welcome and a huge range of ales and ciders complement a food list of top-notch pub grub, including pie and mash courtesy of the marvellous Pie Minister, as well as Portuguese tapas from a local chef. The atmosphere is delightfully variable, with customers playing backgammon and chess during the week followed by some of Bristol's finest DJs on the decks over the weekend.
