This Portuguese tapas bar and restaurant is named for the chilli which gives a fiery taste, particularly to the chicken. There is an extensive menu including such exotic delicacies as pigs' ears and trotters, pipis (chicken giblets in tomato sauce) and moelas (chicken gizzards in tomato sauce); but also mainstream fare like baguettes and chips. Prices are keen and the service is friendly and warm. The food is fresh and homemade and, if the peri peri gets too hot to handle you can always cool down by eating outside.
