This granddaddy of the worldwide pizza emporia was founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1958. Fifteen years later, the first Pizza Hut opened on this side of the pond, quickly becoming the biggest pizza restaurant and delivery chain in the UK.
This branch in St Augustine's Parade in Bristol next to Broadmead Shopping Centre is home to countless children's birthday parties. You know where you are and what you're going to get. As with the takeaway or delivery service, many a happy hour can be spent choosing your own toppings, from olives to red onions, from pepperoni to pineapple. There's something even for those who might choose something other pizza including macaroni cheese, spaghetti bolognaise or chicken.
