An intimate, contemporary Indian restaurant, Posh Spice has become a local favourite since opening in 2002. This success is underlined by a number of awards garnered in the past few years, not least from the Association of High Class Food Establishments.
The unique and extensive menu features plenty of classic favourites, alongside some more unusual dishes. The nagashori, a special chilli curry originating from Bangladesh, is a popular choice and for a treat to accompany your main dish, try the highly recommended tarka daal - lentils with garlic and butter. Some mouth-watering desserts are also available, and the whole menu is created using only the finest quality ingredients.
A comprehensive wine list complements the well-stocked bar, and the restaurant is fully licensed and air-conditioned, making it a perfect meal out at any time of year.

This is our local indian, we eat in and use thier take away service and it's always brilliant. Never had a bad dish here and i'm working my way through the menu.
On the take away they always throw in free popadoms/naan's/or side dish. I always get a beer while i'm waiting.

We had a great meal here. The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait long. Service was good even though the place was busy. We took our 5 year old and she loved the starters and the waiters were very welcoming and friendly towards her.

We waited 1 hour for our food and when we asked how long it would be we were told that they forgot to put our order in at the kitchen, we were not offered any thing to appologise then when the food arrived it was cold and tough.
Again we had to ask 3 times for the bill and in the end we went to the till to pay, we told them and they did not offer any explaination only that they had not been asked by the staff members.
I think that they have spent alot of money on an extention but nothing on extra staff, I would definatly not return on a buffet night, very poor and dissapointing.
