Lack of decent staff training (or lack of management) marred what was a perfectly good meal in the bar lounge. The Torbay sole was nicely done, but some service basics would have made the experience match the food.
1. Acknowledge the customers - after waiting 10 minutes you begin to think you're invisible.
2. make sure the customer gets their drink with or, even better, before their meal. Not 10 minutes after the meal comes. After all, how long can it take to serve a ginger ale? They seem to have a division of labour where one waitress clears the tables, one pours the drinks and puts them on a tray, and the overworked one takes orders and serves the food and the drinks.
3. Be sure to let the customer know that an order for ginger ale gets you about 50ml of ginger ale in a tall glass full of ice. Basically, water with the faintest hint of ginger.
Should do much better.

We ate and partied here for NYE 2009.
The food was just amazing. I must go back and sample this just in the restaurant

Food was delicious and the service was great. The waiter was very polite and the restaurant looked great too. We will be going back.
I will recommend it to friends too.
It's a shame its not very well advertised, I'm sure it would be busier if it was.
