When the deputy editor of the Evening Post says he virtually chose his house on the basis of being close to this excellent neighbourhood Indian establishment, then you know it must be good. Apart from the paper’s five star review, this multi-cultural meeting house is all the rage with diners from a wide variety of backgrounds, from businessmen to students, families and sporting stars.
Tucked away in the streets of Stapleton, the restaurant occupies a curiously-shaped but striking building with huge glass frontage which allows for a bright, cheerful interior, matched only by the effusive and cheerful greeting from the owner Raj who must know the name of every one of his many customers.
The food is fresh, using quality spices and produce, and cooked to perfection, from the tandoori trout to speciality baltis. A class act indeed.

A copy of the email I just sent to them...
I have just left your restaurant and would like to tell you how very disappointed with the whole evening I was.
Firstly the decor of the place is old and tired and needs updating.
It took over 35 mins for our food to be served and when it arrived it was very disappointing.
I eat out at a lot of Indian restaurants all over the country and this is the poorest food I have had in a very long time.
Finally I feel very ripped off that I ordered 2 soda waters and you charged me £6.60 for these....... SHOCKED .... very.......... when I query it you tell me that is the correct price.... for water? I really don't mind paying for good food and drink but his was neither.
Quite honestly if this is how you treat your customers I will never return. Which is a shame as we are moving just around the corner from you. So by over charging me for water you will lose about £1000 a year of my business + all my colleagues and friends too because I will simply take them elsewhere.
Well done.
Very disappointed indeed.

Super food, lovely staff. Highly recommended restaurant. Have eaten here many times, had numerous takeaways and not been disappointed yet!!!
