Revolution (the “e” is backwards to show that the world has just become that little bit more funky) is one of the largest bar operators in the UK, now with more than 50 outlets. Spread over two floors and with a huge bar area, the interior is stylishly decorated in achingly chic tones. The watchwords are “vodka” and “party”, which go together like, well, vodka and party. Over 90 varieties of the former (you can suggest your own concoction and vote in the “flavour league”) and almost as many of the latter (including finger food, fork buffet and, yes, you've guessed it, vodka master class) make this a great place to drink vodka and party. Actually, it's quite restful during the day; it's in the evening when the DJs really get going. All food (there is Burger Night, Steak Night etc and Sunday roast) is brought to you within 15 minutes of ordering. The only sobering thought is that all this vibrant hospitality is brought to you in a building that used to be The Old Post Office.
