More a small takeaway than restaurant but just about deserves inclusion by dint of the half dozen, second hand furniture shop wooden tables packed in tthe tiny reception area where you can eat in if you so desire (trust us, you won't!). However, this place does do a superb takeaway and the food is exceptional although a little miserly on the meat portions. The curries are fresh, clean and packed with taste. The green Curry is recommended as are the Chef Specials.

This has to be the best quality Thai takeaway food that I have tried in Bristol. Always very fresh, and cooked to order -I have eaten in here also, which was very pleasant and relaxed. Dishes are inexpensive and present good value for money. I would particularly recommend the Pad Thai which Mrs Dandelion says is the best in Bristol (and I wouldn't want to argue).

It may look a bit clashing in colour but Simply Thai is certainly more than your average tupperware provider. Dishes are large, especially when taken away and simply beautiful just as Thai food should be. The next-door neighbour-friendly couple and staff are full of smiles and the food is full of flavour. Try the squid in garlic for a sumptuous starter or the old favourite Pad Thai for a moreish treat. Perfect for pre-pub grub or sit-at-home-dvd style. Two can eat for a tenner!
