Unfortunately have had terrible service here - we bought a take away which was cold, we called to let them know and were told to return the next day for a refund. On arriving the next day i was humiliated in front of other customers and told that they knew nothing about our promised refund. They denied that we had ever been customers there. I'm still in shock....

Only visited by chance after a few rounds of drinks on North St, Beds. Was seated about 10ish (just me and my partner, a bit worse for wear) we ordered drinks and food, drinks came but still no food, waited and waited but by the time it had came we had ordered maybe 2 or 3 more drinks each and was too drunk to appreciate the food, however, they put what we didnt eat (quite alot) into containers to take away and i had it the next day and it was delish!!

Great food but they certainely do need to work on there timing!!

The Clove is our local curry establishment and we frequent it often. We have always had excellent friendly service and the food has always been great. We most recently dined there with a group of co workers who were equally impressed and some have since returned with guests of their own. I would especially recommend the Bangla beer as it goes great with spicy food. Their popadum chutney selection is superb - especially the coconut! The chicken badonia is unique and my partner loves the Lamb Rogan. I've never been disappointed at the clove and would highly recommend it!

Group of us decided that Saturday night would be curry night after football. Having suggested Ganesha or Kolkatta Kitchen (both of which I really enjoy) I was out voted & The Clove was our chosen destination. Table booked for 7.30 we were seated by 7.45. Meal was ordered by 8pm. Starter arrives....... 9.05pm! Sorry guys simply not good enough. Don't know about the rest of you but this single problem perhaps more then any other puts me off a place. I find it really hard from this point to be objective about the food! So putting it very simply it was OK. The bill of £105 for the four of us (3 drinks each) didn't exactly soften the blow either! Don't expect to be going back in a hurry but then I get the impression The Clove doesn't do anything in a hurry.
