This is a bijoux pub discreetly tucked away off Jacobs Well Rd which, although compact, is big enough in its culinary ambitions.

I have now been back to this pub several times since my first belated visit. I had heard it was taken over (again) about a year ago. I'd always liked this pub, but now they have outdone themselves. Food menu was exciting, including specials and one of the best Ploughman selections I have seen.
The quality did not let down either. Excellent fish and chips, burgers, salads. The lot.
I was most excited to hear that they do live music and quiz nights also with also a funky back room with lots of board games. Proper pub style.
Loved it!!

Had an excellent meal at The Eldon. Somehow stumbled across it on eat out and they weren't aware they were on this website, so I don't think it's very accurately up to date.
Staff were very friendly and informative of their produce. Food was extremely well priced for the quality. All freshly sourced and prepared apparently and averaged cost of £8/9 a dish.
I'll definitely be returning to try out all the other options on the menu!
And the real ales were delicious and quite a large selection too :)
