Sit back in the comfortable and tasteful surroundings and make your choice from an extensive menu, featuring all the classics (including an outstanding duck with plum sauce) alongside some more unusual choices such as beef with fresh asparagus, and lobster with ginger and spring onions. 10 ladies went for belated Xmas get together. Only one other table of two and a few take aways collected - on a Friday night! Food good, service TERRIBLE. Had to ask several times for things. Three times for a bottle of wine. Service with a frown or a roll of the eyes - and we were the only customers. Refused to pay 'service' charge and were met with a string of abuse and aggression! Waitress asked "do you expect me to stand by you and ask if you need a drink?" - to which I replied "Yes, you are a waitress". We have been many times but will never return. Would recommend Water Sky by Ikea for a great Chinese...........

We eat here often and have never had a bad meal ( unlike some other restuarants and eateries in the area). The staff are friendly and helpful and will make something thats not on the menu if they can. The menu is extensive though and the prices are very reasonable. There are a number of larger round tables with the obligatory lazy susan as well as smaller tables. In the winter there is even an open fireplace! The lovely little touches make the Great Wall extra special - childrens chopsticks and the most amazing carved carrots which we take away!!!
Highly recommended!
