What we say

The Market Place is a modern, English restaurant in the heart of the old commercial quarters serving hearty, organic, contemporary English fare. The bar has a stylish, fresh exterior and a striking dining room with cream walls, potted palms and chocolate brown leather sofas with large spaces available for work parties and birthdays.

All the produce comes from local, ethical suppliers. The meat is allowed to roam, the chicken is free range and the fish is from sustainable stocks. Favourite items from the menu include Mendip leg of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and honey glazed carrots, seared lambs liver with bubble & squeak, bacon and balsamic onion gravy and the orange and almond chocolate truffle cake with fresh orange coulis.

The bar serves a large selection of beers, wines and single malt whiskies.
