Top marks to Raj Bari for their friendliness, hospitallity and good service. We picked this restaurant off the Internet because of its high star rating and we weren't disappointed. Service was prompt even at the busy time between 7 and 8pm, and friendly without being obsequious. Nice menu with one or two interesting additions to the usual fare (try Beguni - aubergine with a difference). Everything we had was well cooked and just as good as we hoped for.

The Raj Bari is our favourite place for a tasty curry, with great service and a laid back atmosphere. I have to say we tend to stick to what we know and love - my partner always has the chicken korma, with boiled rice and a naan bread - whereas I adore the chicken shashlik - tender pieces of chicken, pepper, onion and tomato served with a mint sauce - you can order rice or a naan to compliment it. The side dishes - mushroom, chickpea and saag aloo are all very delicious. The unfortunate part is that they are also very filling - and I always come home with a "doggy bag" as my eyes are always larger than my belly!!!!
