The extensive à la carte menu ranges from salads, classic pasta and risotto dishes, to comforting classics such as lamb shank, steak and ale pie and beer-battered haddock. Famous for its grill menu, The Restaurant offers succulent aged sirloin steaks, grilled fillet of bass with a crushed potato, spinach, red wine and rosemary sauce or grilled Welsh lamb with caramelised shallots. For dessert there is hot chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream or apricot crumble cinnamon with crème fraîche for a delicately delicious finish to an excellent meal
