What we say

The Restaurant @ Pilot House Wharf, in Swansea Marina, has been winning accolades for its culinary excellence and making Swansea's Marina a top gourmet destination for some time now.

Inside, the bright modern style of décor has a light contemporary feel which oozes a relaxed atmosphere. The location is superb, with views overlooking the Marina.

The Head Chef is passionate about freshness and quality and describes his food as "modern British and European" with flare and innovation, and he has retained the AA rosette award for culinary excellence given in previous years.

As you would expect from a waterside restaurant, they are specialists in the finest seafood cuisine and offer a daily changing blackboard fish menu featuring around 14 jewels of the ocean. These may include sea bass, lemon sole, home-smoked salmon, and local Gower lobster; choice is subject to market availability as everything is completely fresh.

There is also plenty for those not so keen on fish to choose from, with mains such as haunch of Welsh venison with rosti potato, braised red cabbage and plum and Jack Daniels Sauce; and filo parcel of artichoke hearts and leeks with rich tomato sauce and stilton cheese.

With the excellent setting and superb cuisine, The Restaurant @ Pilot House Wharf is the hottest ticket for those who love setting the trend in discerning dining.
