What we say

One of the finest restaurants in Wiltshire serving Royal Thai cuisine.

Close to the beautiful, Roman spa city of Bath, the Thai Barn restaurant is located in the centre of the ancient market town of Bradford-on-Avon, a pretty town with a significant history and charm all of its own.

Situated in the town’s old forge next to the town bridge, the restaurant’s ambience is enhanced by the 17th-18th century building.

Strongly supported by locals and lauded by food guides, many customers regularly travel from far and wide to enjoy the delicious cuisine.

The Thai Barn offers all the usual Thai favourites as well as some original dishes along with Thai beer and fine wines.

Had a quick lunch here as I was passing through BOA. Food and service was excellent. Really yummy Thai food - I had pad thai noodles with chicken - and the portions at lunchtime are just right. It's great value too. Very traditional decor and the waitresses are all dressed in lovely Thai robes. Would be very tempted to visit again in the evening. Although I don't live in BOA, it's worth the journey back.

This is very definitely an upmarket Thai restaurant. Everything is done properly: good ingredients properly prepared, traditional service, classy surroundings. Be warned: some dishes can be fiery hot, portions are small so order plenty, and prices are a bit steep. It's always busy, so best to book.
