What we say

Part of the Avon Gorge Hotel, the White Lion Bar and Terrace is possibly the most extensive outside dining area in Britain. Up to 450 people can enjoy close up views of the River Avon and Brunel's wonderful suspension bridge spanning the spectacular gorge. You can dine inside as well, if you must, on an unfussy gastro-style menu (try the potato wedges with cheese and chive mousse). Popular with tourists, locals and students alike, it can get very busy, especially in the summer and it's certainly advisable to get there early on BBQ nights
