Ulysses was established in 1986, and has recently undergone a full refurbishment, complete with new menus packed with authentic Greek food cooked by the Greek Chef. The new interior is stylish and fresh, with a lovely Meditterranean ambience as soon as you step through the door.
This family-owned restaurant, just five minutes from New Street Station, specialises in favourite Greek dishes such as kleftico, stifado, moussaka, and keftedes, but you may also wish to try the authentic mezze selection, complete with 24 different dishes. There are many vegetarian options, and also fresh grilled fish for the health-conscious.
The varied menu is complemented by an extensive wine menu, featuring wines from the world over, including fine Greek wines and even organic wines from Owner Panos' home town in Tripolis.

a greek tragedy. i booked my hen party after viewing the website of Ulysses restaurant. it looked very attractive, good menu and promises of lots of entertainment. the food was very poor, the service was bad, and there was no atmosphere. there was no belly dancing and when we asked they told us it was not busy enough for belly dancing. we left very unhappy and went to Broad street. i think the website is very misleading.

The menu was good, the food was excellent the venue was easy to find and the atmosphere was buzzy. Nice music and friendly staff. The meal was excellent, the service was quick and all the food was wonderfully presented.
