It's all about the Zen, Man, or how to achieve a new level of taste awareness and healthy state of being. Or so they say. A part of the new harbourside development, this modern, glass-fronted building caters for up to 400 in a building which mixes the old and new. You'll find yourself surrounded by 'Old Shanghai' 1930's artefacts and luxurious fixtures and fittings from the marbled toilets to the chic private dining rooms. The menu runs to dishes from 23 Chinese provinces and runs the length of the Great Wallof China, from the standard favourites to the highly exotic and interesting dishes like dong po pork knuckle, a whole joint braised in a marinade of soy and spices and gently roasted for hours until the meat melts off the bone. It's all very aromatic and balanced.
