We stopped for lunch midweek. It was quite busy and after a time we realised the entire place seemed to be run by one waitress all on her own.

She was polite and apologised for the wait, but it is more than a little frustrating to see your food sitting on a counter going cold along with 10 other meals.

When we eventually got our pizza there were so few toppings on it it was burnt all the way through.

Mmmmmm, cold and burnt and no toppings either.

I didn't think it was possible to screw up something as simple as pizza quite so thoroughly, but zizzi managed it, bravo, well done, truly a first....................

I first went to this restuarant in March this year and it was fabulous! The atmosphere was buzzing, jolly and incredibly busy - the service was amazing - everyone was so happpy and friendly, the food was delicious and it was such a great pleasure just to be there! Then I went last Tuesday for the scond time and I was very disappointed. It seemed dead and we had to wait nearly an hour for just a pizza - interestingly, I discovered that the Manager had left and so had most of his staff just recently - I guess that would explain alot and I gathered tht the people left working there were very unhappy about the whole situation - I was so sad to hear that as the place is just not the same and I don't think I would want to go there again - I was also sad that I thought I had found such a great place and now it's gone! Has anyone else been there recently and noticed a change?

Eaten here several times - prefer it to the Clifton branch. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon but still a fair few tables going & service does not slow down.

Menu tweaks: they have done away with the pizza I normally eat - dolcelatte, artichokes, olives - sadly, so I went for a seafood Risotto which was OK but not amazing. You can now have your pizza choice in 'Rustica' style for an extra £2 - longer & thinner and served on a board. The menu says something like 'make your pizza bigger, leaving more room for toppings' but not the case; one friend had normal Trentino & the other a Rustica, the amount of toppings were exactly the same so it looked slightly spartan on the bigger Rustica.

Our waitress was a lovely Italian girl but doing a very hard sell, literally asking every few minutes whether we wanted extra this & that, which was a bit much come the tenth time - possibly normal procedure on a Saturday....

Still the best pizza in the centre though :)

We ate here before watching a film, never had a bad meal @ Zizzi it's a chain yes but it's all fresh pasta and pizza. I am a fan of the decor i must admit

Pizza and pasta always good, it was busy @ the time but the service was very good we were kept informed and looked after very well.

So much better than all the other mircowaved rubbish being served in the other restaurants down @ Cabot! Giraffe and La Tasca yes I’m referring to you!
