Moreish is close to my home, so very convenient. I last visited at lunchtime and was a little disappointed. Only our table was laid up, so the restaurant had a spartan, unwelcoming feel. The food was excellent. The lunchtime menu is interesting and varied, but no starters so 2 courses would have to be main and pudding only. The service was ok, but since it was not very busy, I would have expected it to be better. We had a wait a long time for the waiteress to appear after clearing our plates so that we could request cofffee. We were not asked if we would like puddings or coffee. We did not feel 'looked after' Overall, a good lacal eaterie, but could (and should)be more special.

I agree about the lunch service being a bit slow. I went here over the weekend and we did have our empty plates in front of for a bit longer than necessary while the waiters polished cutlery by the till. The burgers were great though (it seemed the rest of the diners thought so too) but as I'd previously been here in the evening, I would have liked more 'restaurant' style food to choose from.
Still, great value for money if you're out for lunch and a really decent selection of soft drinks too - a great choice for the driver (or the partied-out!).
