Popping over from Bristol to Bath on the train is always a treat for a spot of shopping and a glass of vino or two...and the Walrus and the Carpenter is the perfect location to stop in, have a cosy meal, a bottle of wine and while away the rest of the day.
Centrally located with a buzzy little atmosphere,we went there and enjoyed a cheese and bacon burger each - a delicious combination of powdery bap, streaky bacon, perfect cheeseburger cheese and a meaty patty. And the banana split to follow, whilst being a throwback to the 80s, was simply delicious.
I'd always go there when needing a little pickmeup.
