If you wish to eat in a relaxed, tasteful environment, and eat quality food served well, then this is the place for you in Bristol. The dining rooms have a certain shabby chic, and my husband was particularly taken with the cigar room. The outside courtyard was a very pleasant place for aperitifs. The menu had a good selection to choose from, and the wine list is extensive. We were bowled over by our meals, and they seem to do fish particularly well. The food was delicious and servings generous. I recommend the handmade truffles to finish if you can't cope with a dessert course after being so well fed. Service was a bit slow, but we were in no rush and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
