  We are locals and fancied a treat. Very disappointing meal. The starter of whitebait was cooked from frozen and its accompanying, unmemorable salad had pithy, tasteless tomatoes( of the value variety) with the hard core still inside.I had to ask for lemon for the fish and was given the slices that they put in the drinks... unsqueezable !My husband's pizza was sprayed with black pepper by the waitress while he was in the loo!(he hates pepper) His soup was bland. The bread was the cheapest french' tesco' sticks. They had no olives!!!The quality of food was awful. The pizza dough was too thick. In fact, as much as I hate chain restaurants , we wish we had gone to Pizza Express over the road. The quality of ingredients there is far more superior.
