  Me and my partner decided to indulge in yet another indian meal out and this time we choose raj tandoori, and how very dissapointed we were, especially as it is facing one of the greatest curry houses in bristol, if not in the country, Myristica!

  When you walk down to the restaurant it feels slightly cheap and underwhelming, however the decor was plesant and vibrant.

  We were welcomed by friendly staff and shown to our seat, however the good service ended there. For the rest of the night we were virtually ignored and the staff were messing around the entire evening, they honestly seemed like they didnt want to be there.

  We were also sat on a table that was stuck so far out i thought the waiters were going to shoulder barge me everytime they walked by.

  I have to agree with the last reviewer aswel, with regards to the food. The main courses were strangely bland, a slight spice, but no taste. The starters were also poor, stale cold onion bhajee with a limp salad and tough chicken tikka pieces. The choice of desserts were the usual frozen pathetic offerings.

  Overall the evening was very dissapointing, poor service and poor food!

  We had 25% off with the invitation book but this didnt make a difference i would return even if i had 75% off!

  Please please dont take a step in here, turn around, walk across the street and walk into Myristica, it is easily a million times better, trust me!!
