Last minute get together with 3 generations of family.

Managed to get squeezed in - definitely need to book.

£12.99 each (Fri & Sat evening) eat all you can (£11.99 Mon-Thur pm & all day Sun or £6.50 Lunch). Excellent vfm, as all the food we tried was delicious.

Sushi, Chinese, Thai, Dim Sum, Teppanyaki (choose your own is cooked while you wait) Grill (again cooked while you wait) - everything was fresh, hot, flavoursome, crunchy veg etc.

Then there were the puddings!! Lots of small, tempting things to choose from, and no one was counting how many times you went up!! Gran got in a bit of a mess with the chocolate fountain, but she enjoyed it!

Basically, you just keep going up to pile up a plate, and back to your table, as often as you want. An ideal way to try something eg sushi as you can leave it if you don't like it (we thoroughly enjoyed it, and may even try a sushi restaurant!) and get something else you may be more sure of eg crispy aromatic duck or sweet & sour chicken or thai green curry, or chicken nuggets & chips!

Service was also good, your dirty plate being collected very quickly, you keep your cutlery. Only very small gripe was that the plates were all kept hot, which was right for the main food, but the puddings need cold plates. The waiter I spoke to was very quick to try to find a cold plate for me, but by the time he had cooled a hot plate down, I had found a cooler plate on the bottom of a hot pile!! Still, excellent service from that member of staff I felt, and he said he would report that back - we'll see, as we will definitely go there again.

Great to hear this Soosie, thanks :) I was just discussing this place last night with friends & the shortage (in my opinion, that is) of decent Thai/Sushi joints in town....will try & give it a go sometime this week, that's certainly some credit crunch prices.
